The most common proctology disorders encountered in practice are hemorrhoids, perianal fistulas, and anal fissures.

Pelvic floor disorders is a broad term that encompasses different conditions affecting the pelvic floor muscles and tissues, including urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and others.These disorders are common, and diagnosis is made through medical history, physical exam, imaging tests, and other procedures. Pelvic floor dysfunction can significantly impact quality of life.Treatment options range from lifestyle changes and pelvic floor exercises to medication, mechanical devices, and surgery. Pelvic floor physical therapy is often a first-line treatment.
Managing pelvic floor disorders requires an interdisciplinary approach with input from urologists, gynecologists, gastroenterologists, physical therapists, and colorectal surgeons.
For this talk, Dr Kwek will talk about fecal incontinence.

Colorectal cancer ranks among the most prevalent cancers in Singapore. Each year, approximately 250 to 300 cases diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in NTFGH. In this talk, Dr Edwin will be sharing on the Risk Factors, Symptoms and Screening guidelines.
