Biosketch

​Dr Alexander Yip is the Clinical Director of Healthcare Redesign, where he drives and coordinates Alexandra Hospital's efforts to implement innovative technology-enabled care transformation in order to provide high-quality, safe, efficient and value-driven healthcare.  Dr Yip is the lead primary investigator for the Alexandra Research Centre for Healthcare in a Virtual Environment (ARCHIVE), funded by the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Centre Grant.  ARCHIVE supports research to build a strong evidence base of successful and innovative telehealth solutions that can lead to scalable and sustainable telehealth programs.

Dr Yip is the Head of Gastroenterology & Hepatology in Alexandra Hospital. He received a BSc in Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston, before obtaining his MB BCh BAO at the University College Dublin in Ireland. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the National University Hospital, Singapore.
