Biosketch

​Dr Preetha Menon is Consultant and Deputy Head of Healthy Ageing Programme at Alexandra Hospital.

She graduated from Madras Medical College, India and then went on to complete internal medicine residency and senior residency in geriatric medicine under National University Health System, Singapore.

Passionate about undergraduate and post graduate education, she functions as the Education lead for Healthy Ageing and has also won the Alex Educator Award multiple times. Dr Preetha Menon is also the clinical lead for the Integrated Parkinson's Hub@AH which is a multidisciplinary service aimed at providing person-centered holistic care for patients with Parkinson's Disease. She is the Chair of Fall Prevention Committee at Alexandra Hospital and her research interests include movement disorders, frailty and sarcopenia.
