Dr Ong Say Yang completed his anaesthesia training in 2014 and underwent a one-year fellowship in chronic pain management in Adelaide in 2018. His clinical interests are in pain management, regional and obstetric anaesthesia. He divides his clinical time between Alexandra Hospital and the National University Hospital.
Dr Ong is the Director of the Pain Management Unit at National University Hospital and also leads the pain service in Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Ong also contributes actively in medical education at the undergraduate level at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS), and at the postgraduate level as a core faculty of the NUHS Anaesthesiology Residency Programme.
