Dr Grace Chiang is a Consultant Family Physician at Alexandra Hospital. After graduating from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, she completed her Masters of Medicine and Fellowship in Family Medicine. She was awarded the Dr Koh Eng Kheng Gold Medal as the top Fellowship candidate.
She also attained a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Aging and Public Health from Johns Hopkins University under the Community Care Manpower Development Award from the Agency of Integrated Care. She is also Certified in Public Health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners, USA.
Dr Chiang is involved in preventive health and population health initiatives. As a clinician investigator, she has an interest in studying innovative solutions for aging in place, chronic disease management, women's health, and longevity medicine. She is currently the Honorary Editor of the Singapore Family Physician Journal and is also part of the College of Family Physicians Singapore council. Dr Chiang is also a member of the Ethics and Editorial Policy Committee, Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors. As an educator, she is a physician faculty in the Family Medicine Residency (NUHS), clinical senior lecturer at NUS medicine, clinical tutor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and tutor for the Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine and Fellowship Programme. She is an advocate for family medicine in the Asia Pacific Region as the Singapore Representative for the WONCA Young Doctors Movement. She also actively contributes to the social service sector in Singapore and was selected to be part of the National Council of Social Service 40-under-40 programme 2022.
