The Division of Rheumatology aims to provide holistic care and improve the quality of life of our patients with rheumatic diseases. Our team specialises in inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and soft tissue and metabolic bone diseases, for example, rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, gout, and other conditions. We provide our outpatient services in the Integrated Care Clinic in AH. We also cover the inpatient rheumatology consultation services where we provide our expertise in the management of pyrexia of unknown origin and multi-system disorders of diagnostic challenge, on top of the general rheumatological problems.
We offer a range of diagnostic and treatment services including complex immunotherapies, biologics, joint aspiration and injection, and dedicated teleconsultation services. Our team offers comprehensive education of rheumatic diseases to patients under our care and offer supportive care so that they can cope with their conditions at home. The goal is to achieve disease remission, reduce pain, regain function, and maintain employability for the patients.
Our multidisciplinary team comprising specialised nurses and allied health professionals such as physiotherapist, occupational therapist, podiatrist, dietician and psychologist, support patients based on their medical and psychosocial needs. We may also co-manage the patients with other in-house specialists as necessary. In today's scenario of defragmented medical care, we strive to consolidate care for our rheumatic disease patients by actively managing other coexisting diseases that they may have, such as diabetes and hypertension.
We are committed to providing high quality, patient centric and value-based care.
