Rehabilitation Medicine at AH helps patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life after a disabling injury or illness such as stroke or spinal cord injury. Our multi-disciplinary care team of doctors, nurses, therapists, psychologists, social workers and others, work to restore function and reintegrate patients back to their lives and communities, to the fullest extent possible.

Our team of experienced rehabilitation specialists offers a wide range of services, including:
- Functional assessment and optimization
- Coordinated interdisciplinary inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care
- Pain management including minimally invasive interventions
- Other rehabilitation interventions such as botulinum toxin injections and neurolysis for spasticity
- Reintegration to home and community and return to work
We work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plan and goals that meet their individual needs. Our aim is to help patients return to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.
