Wait Times at the Emergency Department
At the Emergency Department, priority will be given to patients with life-threatening emergencies and more serious conditions who require immediate care. For patients with conditions assessed to be non-urgent, please note the waiting times may be longer and the estimated times are as below.

here at your nearest GP or polyclinic to seek medical treatment for non-emergency conditions.
Ng Teng Fong General Hospital is a member of the NUHS healthcare cluster, therefore patients may also be admitted to
Alexandra Hospital and
National University Hospital under the cluster based on their conditions and diagnosis, as determined by doctors.
The transfer is made via an ambulance and at no extra cost to the patient.
